This week we go in depth to one of 2016's most anticipated films, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We look into this film with full SPOILERS, discussing the controversial choice of Ben Affleck for Batman, the loose morals the characters inhabit when it comes to killing, as well as THAT ending, and ask what we could expect of future DC films (including the much derided Aquaman film). Directed by Zack Snyder, and also starring Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams and Jesse Eisenburg, is this film really as bad as what everyone says? Listen to our podcast review to find out.

This kind-of sequel to 2008's Cloverfield removes it's focus from the chaotic streets of New York to a claustrophobic Texan bunker. When Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) wakes up strapped to a wall after a horrific car crash, she is told by the unnerving Howard (John Goodman) that a terrible attack has left the atmosphere inhabitable, and her family most certainly dead. Unsure what to believe, she uses the help of fellow bunker-dweller Emmett (John Gallagher Jr,) to try and work out the truth. First time director Dan Trachtenburg and producer J.J. Abrams have created a tense and chilling sci-fi thriller with Hitchcockian overtones, and a sequel that proves much better than the original in 10 Cloverfield Lane.

This week we give Richee his Virgin Viewings of the Robert Zemeckis survival classic Cast Away. First released in 2000, Cast Away sees Tom Hanks play a Fed Ex workaholic who's plane is crash landed in the ocean, leaving him to be washed up on a desert island, learning how to survive with scraps of his old life. We discuss our different interpretations of the films ending, the writing process of the film, and, of course, Hanks island confidant Wilson.

The Coen Brothers return with an all star cast in their tale of golden era Hollywood and communist kidnappers. Much attention has been paid to the create an authentic 1950's look to the film, but what about the plot, which feels like its been thinned out a little to make way for all the celebrities. Listen to our review of Hail, Caesar!, which also stars Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum and Alden Ehrenreich amongst others. Also, we have a look at the trailer for the new all-female Ghostbusters film, as well as all the controversy its generated.

Sasha Baron Cohen is back as mega-chav Nobby in this spy spoof. Also starring Mark Strong as his long lost brother, Grimsby (or The Brothers Grimsby in America) plows us with crude joke after crude joke, but just how funny is it? And has the chav mockery well and truly over now? Listen to our podcast review to see what we think about these issues. Directed by Louis Leterrier, and also starring Isla Fisher, Penelope Cruz and Rebel Wilson.
